“Creativity is intelligence having fun,” but first, and at absolutely no cost to anyone, we, those entrusted with the growth and development of children and young adults must adhere to the idea that curiosity should be embraced, encouraged and supported. It is our obligation to our youth, of all economic status, to provide opportunities for their future, to support them in pursuing a challenging career, and encourage them by reminding them that against others’ limitations or perceptions of who they are and what they are capable of, they can be both smart and beautiful.
